Update Profile and Enable 2FA

Welcome to ProfitBot, your home for simple, reliable and powerful crypto trading automation.

One of the first things you will do after creating a new account and logging into your account is to update your profile and settings. Please click on the settings link on the left menu to view the settings screen.

Please update your Personal Details in the first tab.

Save Details and Click on the "Security" tab. Here you can update your password or enable Two-Factor Authentication.

We strongly recommended everyone to enable Two-Factor Authentication by clicking the "Enable" button.

You will now see a pop-up screen where you can select Authentication method from a list. Right now we only support google Authenticator which is widely used industry standard.

Please click "Next" button.

The next screen will provide you steps on how to download Google Authenticator for your smartphone or other operating systems. Once you have done this, click the next button.

The screen will provide you a QR code which you will be able to scan on your device running the google authenticator.

Once you scan the QR code on the google authenticator app, you will have the profitbot authenticator code added to your google authenticator app. This code will change regularly in the app.

Please click the Next button and you will be prompted to add the current code into the form. Once you enter this please click "Enable 2FA" button and your 2-Factor Authentication will be setup and enabled.

You will now be required to complete your login with the 2-Factor authentication for any subsequent login attempts.
